Biography: Nick Davies, founder of The Scottish Legal Awards, is an accomplished oral communications skills trainer. He practiced as a barrister before identifying a need in the professional services market for practical training in key aspects of communication. He has a wealth of experience in training lawyers, accountants and civil servants how to network, pitch and develop their businesses for real-world scenarios. He practices his art through hosting award ceremonies and after dinner speeches. Nick also contributes articles to The Scotsman and frequently writes pieces for the legal sector.
