The Advertising Standards Authority has banned a direct insurance mailing promotion from Towergate owned British Insurance, for being misleading.

British Insurance issued a direct mailing promoting its insurance products that "Thank you for your recent online application for insurance, which was incomplete and therefore cannot be accepted.
