Asda Financial Services (FS) has launched a new brand identity, featuring a "squashy" logo.
The brand's aim is to promote Asda FS' flexible approach to financial services, which involves its "friendly" approach to insurance and credit.
Asda is quoted as being the "fastest growing financial service in the UK", according to mad.co.uk and it believes its new campaign will help "demystify" the financial services sector.
It is hoped the new brand will also offer a simple service that is to save people hundreds of pounds.
Asda first entered the financial services in April 2002 and aims to target customers on lower incomes. Although it primarily offers insurance, it also provides a variable rate credit card.
The news follows reports that Asda is has partnered with SimplySwitch in a bid to reduce customer utility bills.
Asda's initiative will see it join forces with SimplySwitch in order to promote price comparison as a method of reducing bills to its customers.
