The Bank of Scotland has launched an advertising campaign which uses Edinburgh bus shelters to remind customers to use local branches to keep in touch.
For 12 months, ten Adshel bus shelters across Scotland's capital will be promoting the brand, with six sheets of posters wrapping the entire length of glass, thereby creating a landscape contravision effect that can be seen by bus users, pedestrians and other road users.
Simon Wardell, head of Create at Clear Channel, the outdoor advertising company, said: "Contravisions maximise impact on the street and were the perfect solution for the local focus of this campaign." He added that his team is "committed to working with advertisers and agencies to develop tailored and impactful solutions across our multi-format inventory".
Rachael Winter, account director at Vizeum commented: "This is a great opportunity for Bank of Scotland to achieve standout in the busy City Centre and make the best use of the prime locations included as part of the 2007 partnership with Clear Channel."
Apart from using bus shelters, companies can also use Adshel's point-of-sale advertising spaces at Sainsbury's and Somerfield supermarkets, various music venues and universities and in over 80 shopping malls in the UK.
