European financial group and bank BNP Paribas has revealed its intention to move into the UK market by releasing a range of products aimed at British independent financial advisers (IFAs).
BNP has provided a new web portal for IFAs, which is aimed at providing easier access to the group's financial services products.
In addition, the group will be pulling together its brands in the UK as part of the drive, as well as providing other new services over the course of the year.
According to BNP's UK head of territory, Ludovic de Montille, IFAs will be attracted to the company because it can be a "strong" partner in "today's uncertain markets".
"BNP Paribas has developed a range of specialised solutions tailored for UK financial advisers that it will expand over the coming years," he said.
"Making a strategic commitment to this market is the first step on our growth path."
According to Standard & Poor's, the bank is one of the three strongest in the world.
