Search engine optimisation (SEO) is as much about content as it is about impressive website design, according to Fortune Cookie.
Figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) indicate that 61 per cent of UK households have access to the internet, increasing the market for online services.
However, firms keen on improving the online presence of their accounting services and legal services marketing can end up focusing on website design at the expense of content.

He said: "Make sure that the copy on the website is written in plain language, that it is searchable and that it is on-brand.

Meanwhile, the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) has recently unveiled plans to focus on improving Britain's online literacy.
