DAS UK Holdings remains "confident" of further growth despite the current significant market challenges, it has been revealed.
The company announced headline profits of £10.3 million for 2007 in March, likely to be in no small part the result of some shrewd professional services marketing.
Pre-tax profits were also up by 28 per cent compared to 2006 and DAS chief executive Paul Asplin noted that the company was "extremely pleased" with the results.
He told the Insurance Daily: "It's a testament to our teams and their expertise, to our acquisition successes and integration, and to the establishment of DAS Legal Services.
"We are continuing to examine further acquisition opportunities and we remain confident that further profitable growth can be achieved, in spite of the market challenges that clearly exist."
Meanwhile, DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Ltd's legal marketing expertise was delivered an additional boost in March when it announced a new sponsorship deal with Bristol City Football Club.
