Financial services firm Edward Jones is to hold a seminar on investing and the stock market in an effort to raise its profile.
Taking place in Cambridge on November 25th, the event is labelled 'If you can't predict you should prepare' and will be hosted by a financial adviser and stockbroker from the company, Damon Rainsford.
"We would all prefer to know exactly what will happen with the financial markets, as it would make selecting investments so much easier," said Mr Rainsford.
"But we do not, therefore we will look at the benefits of having a consistent long-term investment approach, and will discuss strategies for staying focused when the market changes."
The seminar is in keeping with the financial services company's policy of meeting and advising clients in person, which has caused it to "rapidly" expand throughout the UK.
Edward Jones now has more than 300 stockbrokers and financial advisers operating in the country and deals with individuals and small businesses exclusively.
