Insurance company Esure is advertising its females-only car insurance brand by commissioning a pop single.
The insurance company has arranged for legendary 80s production company Stock, Aitken and Waterman to produce a single by the three women who advertise Esure's Sheilas' Wheels brand.
Sheilas' Wheels' advertising has already been named as containing one of the catchiest jingles of any brand, coming sixth in a survey which noted that the nation's favourite jingle was the old Shake n' Vac song.
Despite its relative modernity, as the brand was only launched two years ago, people seem to have clicked with the Australian trio of Cathi, Emma and Carly who promote the brand through song.
Cannily, Esure is now jumping on the success of this by commissioning the release of a single '(I'm So) Happy Happy (You're Mine)' sung by the girls, which will be released in September.
Things look good for Esure after Pete Waterman claimed that there had been "phenomenal" feedback to the previews available on the web and added that if the demand was there, an album would not be out of the question.
