The Bank of Ireland has launched its new online arm Giraffe with a marketing campaign that aims to match its quirky branding.
Launched under the theme "If you see a Giraffe grab it", the advertising will be supported by promotion both online and in the national press.
The Bank of England additionally states that it will be sponsoring the Giraffe enclosure at Belfast Zoo, which has been known for its breeding success with Rothschild's giraffes.
It is hoped that the campaign will highlight the bank's drive for effective technology and communication.
Alison Pallet, head of consumer lending at Bank of Ireland personal lending UK, commented: "We are very excited about launching Giraffe in Northern Ireland today.
"There are a growing number of people who are capable of making their own choice, without the need for advice. Giraffe has been designed to meet the needs of these people."
Giraffe states that it is the trading name of Bristol and West and aims to deliver competitive mortgages through online technology.
