Independent financial advisers (IFAs) may not even have to advertise the satisfaction their service provides consumers, after a customer survey revealed that the vast majority of clients were satisfied with their IFA's service.
According to a survey commissioned by Unbiased.co.uk, customer satisfaction with IFAs is at its highest level since 2000.
When using the website's online and telephone Find an IFA service, 86 per cent of consumers reported some varying degrees of satisfaction.
Some 779 people were asked about how satisfied they were with a meeting with an IFA located either online or via Unbiased.co.uk's hotline.
Of the people who met an IFA after going through the website, 30 per cent said they were fairly satisfied with the meeting and 56 per cent said they were very satisfied.
Some 65 per cent of callers who used the hotline reported being very satisfied with the service, while 21 per cent were fairly satisfied.
Chief executive of Unbiased.co.uk David Elms said: "Record levels of consumer satisfaction in the independent financial advice experience reveal that the IFA brand is stronger than ever.
"These figures clearly highlight that independent financial advice remains a crucial element in consumers' financial planning and that the Unbiased.co.uk search adds real value to our 9,000 member IFAs."
With the website promoting its IFAs with good publicity, advisers should not have to advertise too much to gain customers.
