Norton Rose can now advertise itself as both a firm with a speedy turnaround and a company that cares about the environment after two updates to its business.
At its London headquarters, the law firm is to install 480 Canon printers, of both black-and-white and colour versions, which will allow it to use separate types of printer for draft work and completed documents.
At a cost of £300,000 the company will now be able to market itself as a greener company, something which appeals to many consumers these days, as this will reduce paper wastage and also mean that less energy and ink is used on rough work.
IT project manager Anthony Salter said that the layout of the new printer system would also improve efficiency as workers would spend less time retrieving documents, the Lawyer reports.
This news comes just after Norton Rose has spent £1.9 million on upgrading its communications network after its move to new offices at More London Riverside in May.
The work was vital for the firm, which promotes itself as an international company that is able to share sector knowledge and expertise across borders, as it states on its website.
Norton Rose can also now advertise its speed in drafting contracts for clients due to online document collaboration between its 2,000 lawyers across the globe.
In addition, the law firm has installed video and audio conferencing on the company's laptops, which should also speed up communication.
Mr Salter said the new improvements would mean that its staff could work more effectively and efficiently for clients.
