Lloyds TSB has received praise and a positive PR boost as it launched a website to help people who have been affected by the recent flooding across the UK.
Search conversion agency Tamar helped the bank set up the site to offer support and information to flood victims or those that could be at risk of flooding in future.
Across 17 pages, the site offers current personal and corporate clients as well as non-Lloyds TSB customers flood prevention tips and contact numbers for those who have had their homes flooded.
The bank can now advertise its service as not only caring but also efficient as the site was built in just 72 hours.
Neil McCarthy, director at Tamar, said: "It is great to see a large organisation like Lloyds TSB doing something to help people affected by flooding, and we are delighted to be a part of this project, completing the website build in record time."
Simon Roberts, eBusiness implementation manager at Lloyds TSB Insurance, commented: "During this difficult time, we wanted to try and help the general public as quickly as possible. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and have had some great feedback from our customers. We will be continually updating the website to provide as much information as possible over the coming weeks."
