LV= has appointed a new head of brand management.
The Friendly Society, which recently re-branded itself from the title Liverpool Victoria, says Gautam Datar is to now lead its brand management strategies.
Mr Datar's main responsibilities will be to secure sponsorship deals, lead group proposition development and to be in charge of creative services, reports mad.co.uk.
Gautam Datar commented: "It is a great time to be joining LV= and I am looking forward to the challenge this role presents.
"There is a fantastic opportunity to build upon the excellent work that has been done to date and continue to develop and grow the LV= brand over the coming years."
Mr Datar joins the Friendly Society at a point of evolution in terms of its branding. LV= says it has changed its name to present it in a "more modern and vibrant way" to existing customers and potential members.
The new name is also shorter and more memorable maintaining "the best aspects" of its heritage while sharpening its delivery, the friendly added.
