Professional services marketing for mobile could be the next big thing for firms keen to push online marketing sales, it has been revealed.
According to research by Aerodeon and Millward Brown, more than 60 per cent of mobile internet users will go on to buy a product after signing up or viewing an opt-in on their mobile.
Commenting in Precision Marketing, head of third party services at Orange UK, Steve Ricketts, explained that mobile online marketing was opening up new avenues for advertisers.
He explained: "The results show that more and more British consumers are using mobile media.
"Their behaviour offers advertisers brand new ways to engage potential customers, drive sales and build brand equity."
Meanwhile the research also indicated that 77 per cent of the 18 to 24-year-old demographic use web portal devices on their mobiles.
However, experts commenting on Net Imperative have suggested that the mobile web portal platform is still too limited to have any true force.
