Legal and accountancy firms advertising online can make use of two new services to measure their internet audiences.
Nielsen, provider of internet measurements, announced the launch of its Nielsen Online and Nielsen Mobile products to help marketers analyse their audience numbers and trends.
As internet ad spend climbs, with recent reports suggesting it now accounts for more than six percent of total marketing budgets, advertisers find it increasingly important to track effectiveness of campaigns.
To refine this process the company launched Nielsen Online, which is made up of Nielsen/Net Ratings and BuzzMetrics to measure and analyse behaviour of online audiences, video, blogs, consumer generated media and word of mouth.
Nielsen Mobile, which will interpret behaviour of mobile consumers, incorporates the recently acquired Telephia.
David Calhoun, chief executive officer of Nielsen said: "With this new structure, we are prepared to focus with even more intensity on delivering the complete picture of consumer activity and behaviour in the digital space and across all media platforms."
