M Consulting, the Birmingham-based marketing communications agency, is resolving to become the UK’s leading insurance, financial and professional services specialist after enjoying unprecedented levels of growth over the last 12 months.
The agency, which doubled its client base in 2006, has been able to bolster its team with the appointment of six new members of staff working across disciplines in graphic design, public relations and marketing.
Managing director Mark Manton said the agency, which is renowned in London for its specialist skills and ability to build brand value, is aiming to concentrate its efforts on winning new business in the regions.
Mark said: “We are considered to be an inspirational agency with an excellent reputation throughout the insurance and professional service sectors.
“This is reinforced by the sheer volume of new business we won in 2006, which includes several six figure accounts. And, despite focusing our energies on the London market for well over 10 years, we have recently won new clients in the regions such as DAS in Bristol, gocompare.com in South Wales, IGI in Nottingham, as well as others in Birmingham and Kent.
“Our traditional client base includes large players in both the insurance market and in the banking and legal sectors and we have chosen our new team for their ability to fuse together knowledge of insurance, financial and professional services markets with leading edge marketing communications and creative capabilities.
“As an agency our remit is quite broad and we handle all aspects of marketing from writing business plans and creative design work to PR and new media. We have even started a service creating bespoke fine art pieces for the corporate market in response to requests from clients and other contacts.”
M Consulting is currently working on the marketing and PR strategy of a new consumer insurance comparison website, which is poised to launch with a £1.5 million TV advertising and marketing campaign. The company was also instrumental in the creation of a newly launched insurer, from writing the business plan to creating the brand and designing its identity and PR launch.
Mark added: “Whilst we have a strong reputation in the capital we are aiming to raise our profile elsewhere. Our aim is to again double our client base during 2007 across the professional sectors, with particular emphasis on the regions while at the same time maintaining a high profile in London.”
